Real Madrid Coach Jose Mourinho will reportedly return to Chelsea as manager for a date of July 1, on an €11.8m-a-year contract.
The Portuguese commented during the week that his time at Madrid could, as rumours have suggested all season, be coming to an end.
Speculation has been mounting that former club Chelsea are waiting in the wings to take back the 50-year-old and The Sun today report that, barring any last minute hitch, a deal has been reached for his return to Stamford Bridge.
The publication says that Chelsea and Mourinho will shy away from public comment until an official announcement set for July 1.
Mourinho has reportedly agreed a £10m, €11.8m salary to return to The Blues. After a fairly successful spell in Spain winning three trophies he goes back to England but there are concerns if his relationship with the Roman will remain frictionless.
